Hotel Paradise Suites

Alex was great at pointing us toward everything we needed, and Rebecca gave me an amazing massage. The place is so convenient, just two minutes from North Beach and five from Hidalgo. They even have a clothesline for wet things. We'll be back!

Paradise Suites has comfortable rooms and a lovely spot near the beach, restaurants, and bars, while still feeling quiet and peaceful. There was plenty to see and do nearby. I rented a golf cart just steps from the hotel and drove out to Punta Sur for sunset. Beautiful!

We picked this place because reviews said it stayed quiet despite being close to everything, and that was true. It's a block from North Beach and a couple of blocks from Hidalgo St. Alex, the manager, speaks several languages and was so helpful and professional. For us, it was a five-star stay at a reasonable price compared with beachfront places. Our bungalow was spacious and quiet, with blackout curtains and air conditioning. The bathroom had been remodeled, and there was a water cooler and small kitchen. The beds were really comfortable, with ergonomic pillows, and the little back patio had a line for wet clothes. Some very polite resident cats came by outside, which we enjoyed as animal lovers. We'd absolutely come back and recommend it, though it's not fancy or like a typical hotel. There are no views, but we were out most of the time anyway. The massage area is open-air, and in the heat it didn't appeal to us. The massage prices had also gone up recently, which I don't fault them for. We preferred getting a massage in an air-conditioned studio. For me, four stars is a big compliment, and five is reserved for truly the best.

The location is just a few minutes' walk from the beach, with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Thanks to Alex and the team for a great stay!
