Only a five-minute walk from the center of Iztapan, Hotel Yara is a good place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and presentable, and the prices are very affordable.

I paid 1300 for 3 people. The beds were hard, so I didn't sleep well, but the warm pool helped make up for that. I think it's one of the few budget hotels with a heated pool. Acceptable overall.

The room was super clean, the pool was amazing, and the bathrooms were great, with hot water, toilet paper, and soap. We’d watched some hotel shows, and this place seemed perfect for finding bed bugs or other insects in the mattresses. It’s only a few blocks from the center and easy to reach in the area. We loved it, and the service was excellent from the first time we contacted them to ask about prices.

The bathroom partitions are falling apart, and when I arrived at night hoping for a relaxing shower, the showers didn’t work and there was no hot water. The wading pool was cold too. It feels very expensive for how little they offer, and hot water isn’t available around the clock.
