A good place to stop for a night. The beds were really comfortable, and adding an extra one was no trouble. We had tasty food and a nice choice of dishes and drinks at the restaurant. The Agua de Jamaica was especially delicious, and we spotted some birds while eating there. The view is great, and there's an in-house museum, but not much else to do nearby, so I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

The food is delicious, and being surrounded by nature feels incomparable. This place is beautiful and almost magical, a perfect spot for couples or a retreat. With only a few rooms, you can enjoy the old hacienda peacefully, with services on par with a high-end 5-star hotel.

The museum alone is worth a visit, and the food was good. Add kind hospitality and it's a terrific place to stay. A unique, historic, beautiful stop near Comitan, with gorgeous rooms looking onto a peaceful green space inside ancient walls, framed by magnificent trees.

We loved being allowed to play on the gorgeous billiards table in the old bar. The building and grounds have been well looked after, and the whole place feels magical. There's plenty to explore nearby, including Comitán, El Chiflon, Laguna de Montebello, and a few ruins. The restaurant food was very good too.

We only came to see the museum, where there are some pictures from the XVI century. The room smelled damp and old. The receptionist said we couldn't look around because we weren't guests. I don't think that was a good attitude. They should show visitors the hotel so we can decide whether to return or recommend it.
