The breakfast was lovely, and we ate with the fountain running and doves cooing nearby. The staff were kind and gracious, and it’s a charming hotel. Our room worked perfectly for us, though friends had trouble with weak air conditioning and shower water that was too cool. Ours were fine. I drove there, and I’d let them know you’re coming so they can open the gate. The entrance I used was a little narrow, but it was okay. The Wi-Fi was my biggest issue, it didn’t work well. A couple of my friends had mobility problems and found the walking difficult, but Uber is cheap. I’d stay again.

The staff make you feel so at home that it’s like the place is yours. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and we’ll stay here on future trips to Leon. A couple of quirks take a little getting used to: for hot water, run it for a minute, turn it off for two, then shower as usual, and the door handles are funky. After that, you barely notice. The included breakfast is light and just right, though I’d pay extra for the fuller breakfast if you want to stay full until late afternoon. The enfrijoladas are to die for. We asked for sweat bread, and they had an assortment ready every morning. The coffee and real orange juice were top quality.

This hotel was a really pleasant surprise, with attentive, helpful staff and great service for the price. Breakfast was delicious and the service there was excellent too. The free continental option is more than enough, or you can add a hot breakfast for $80 pesos. Thank you!

There wasn’t a phone in the room, and the room stayed cold even with the heater set to 30c. This went on for all 3 days and 2 nights. I told the night attendant the shower was cold, but he wasn’t helpful. He showed my wife that the shower in another room was hot and told us to wait for ours to warm up. It never did.
