The front desk stands out, they're quick and efficient. The hotel is also about five minutes from a large popular mall and a couple of supermarkets. The rooms and appliances look VERY outdated, with a yellow tint from age, but they're clean and still working. The air conditioning is phenomenal, and the small pool is clean.

The location is far from anything interesting, with an expensive taxi ride or about 40 minutes each way by bus. After a terrible check-in, we moved downtown after two nights in Leon, where we could walk around or reach places in a few bus stops. Reception gave me serious trouble and charged me twice. They wouldn't believe I'd paid online and made me pay again at the desk. They also added $20 for a third person, a charge that hadn't been mentioned online. I'd never come across a hotel charging by person instead of by room. Only stay here if the city is destroyed and this is the only building left standing.

It's in a commercial area that's great for me, though on Fridays loud music nearby goes on until 11pm. I need to stay here because of the location. It's a great family hotel, with each room divided into two sections, a refrigerator, living room, and bedroom. It's not very new, but it's clean. The service is great and the food is nice. Try the tuna tacos!
