Check-in is at Bungalows Caracol, and they have bikes guests can use. The rooms were the nicest I've found in LdM, spotless and with everything working. It's set in a lovely garden, with a nice pool.

It was a quiet place, and the room had the basics for making your own meals: a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and more. That's handy when food around here is a bit expensive. The beach is beautiful and about a five-minute walk away. The pool is very small, really just for relaxing after the beach, but it was clean. Access closes after 9:00 PM, so you have to keep opening and closing the gate whenever you go out. The property isn't pet-friendly, though it does have two well-behaved dogs. The dog poop was sometimes left around, including by the pool entrance, where we found some that wasn't cleaned up for almost the whole day. It wasn't everywhere, but they should be more careful about it. Still, everything else was fine, and I can say we had a good stay.

I had a really pleasant stay. The place was private, quiet, clean, and full of greenery. The pool was clean too, and the shower had good pressure and reliably hot water. It's a five-minute walk to the beach on a secluded path. I'd recommend coming by car, since the store and town center are quite a walk away.
