We loved our quick three-night stay over MLK weekend and are already looking forward to coming back. The rooms were clean and equipped with what we needed, and the place is within walking distance of everything. Our bathroom had the cutest Mexican cactus tiles. Jill and Rick were lovely hosts and helped arrange a half-day fishing trip. We spent plenty of time in the hot tub and by the fire pit, chatting with other guests. On our last night, they put on a big dinner at the outdoor patio and kitchen, so everyone could mingle over food and wine. Thanks, Jill and Rick!

The spot is quiet, private, and relaxing, and we had a fabulous stay in December 2023. Jill and Rick were easy to reach with questions and gave useful advice from having lived there for more than 20 years. They checked in to see if we needed anything, and you can tell they really care about the place and their guests. Best place ever!

The casitas and cabanas were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, better than we expected. We loved this place and will stay again. The owner was helpful with local tips, from getting around to sea excursions and restaurants, especially useful if you haven't been to the area before. Grocery stores are close enough to walk to if you want to cook, and there are plenty of restaurants and the beach within walking distance too.

My husband and I have been coming to Las Cabanas once or twice a year for six years, and Rick and Jill feel like family to us in Mexico. Their travel experience and years here have gone into making this place feel like a little Mexican paradise, with everything a traveler could want. When travel starts up again after Covid, Las Cabanas will be our first trip. We can't wait to return to our favorite place.

We went with a group of 30 in March 2016 and rented several casitas and cabanas. The casitas were clean, roomy, and nicely decorated, and the cabanas were lovely too. It felt like paradise, with great cooking facilities, grills and tables by the pools for eating outside, and beautiful pools. The owner has been in the area for years and knows what to suggest, whether you're interested in deep sea fishing, whale watching, scuba diving, or other activities. I can't recommend it enough.
