Loreto Playa Boutique Hotel

Our first stay at Loreto Playa was a real treat. We'd previously stayed at their beachfront vacation rental, and both places are wonderful. This hotel has a lot of charm and a boutique feel, with only a few rooms, so it stays quiet and low key. It's clean and well kept, and an easy walk to the town square, Malecon, and most eateries. The pool is a nice way to cool off, and Jeff, Linda, or manager Cindy can help you find a restaurant or tour that suits your group. As we understand it, you can rent the whole hotel for a family or group at a very low price. The hosts couldn't be more accommodating, and we can't say enough about how nice it is.

Cyndi made me feel at home, not like just another visitor. She answered all my questions, shared great recommendations, introduced me to the area, and gave me a map. The room was comfortable, spacious, and nicely decorated. This was where my love for Loreto began, and I'll stay here again on my way back.

We got lucky choosing this hotel for our first Loreto trip. Jeff was a great owner, always available when guests needed something, and his wife even baked fresh cookies and brought us a plate. Everything, including the lovely pool, was clean and in good condition. It's far enough from the main seafront boulevard and its bigger hotels that we didn't have to put up with the terrible sewer smell day and night.

Cyndi is a wonderful host and concierge, and she and the staff made sure we had what we needed for a great vacation. The hotel was clean and comfortable, conveniently close to the malecon, marina, and plaza. In the August heat and humidity, the pool was a welcome place to cool down. We highly recommend this little gem.
