We went to Guayabitos for two days to visit the flea market in La Pinita during a trip we’d planned to Perto Vallarta. This was in Feb 2023, so it may be better now, but the rooms weren’t great. Our fridge didn’t work, and the patio doors wouldn’t lock. We barely spent time in the room. On the plus side, it was close to corner stores, the ocean, street vendors, and restaurants serving wonderful breakfasts. I’d give it about two stars overall.

The place was very, very dirty, and the customer service was awful. They were very rude. The suite shown online as supposedly nice looked nothing like that in person. They advertised kitchenettes, but only had a limited number, and when we booked a room with a kitchen, they said we hadn’t. Very misleading. A bus arrived while I was there, and I felt bad for the others too, since they were complaining from the moment they got there. I couldn’t change my reservation because we had a big family and everything was booked for the length of our stay. Worst place.

The bathroom sink was falling apart, and it was a really bad place to stay. They only had A/C from 8 pm to 7 am, so staying there wasted time and money.
