Construction kept going from 6 am until 5 pm, with constant hammering that made it impossible to rest. When I raised it at reception, the receptionist said she'd pass it on to the owner. The rooms smelled bad, and the restroom wasn't working. You can only switch on the air conditioning at 8 pm. For a cheap stay, there were too many problems to make the price worthwhile. I wouldn't recommend it.

They do have air conditioning in the rooms, but guests are only allowed to run it overnight, from 8 pm to 8 am. During the day, they turn it off. The pet policy was also not what I expected. They said they accepted pets, but after I arrived, it turned out to depend on the animal's size. Mine is medium-sized, so the owner wanted a deposit. The staff weren't flexible and seemed more concerned with pleasing the boss than the customer. It was a really poor experience, with a not-so-nice place and bad service.

We came all the way from chacala because the website said pets were allowed at no extra charge. When we got there, nobody was around, and the price didn't match what was listed online. They also wouldn't let us in with my service dog, saying they only accept small breeds.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of three. It's a simple, humble place with a pool that our three-year-old loved. Los ayala Nayarit Mexico felt like an authentic town where we could experience Mexican life and culture. The beach is a three-minute walk, and Rincon de Guayabitos is about a ten-minute drive away. The owner was lovely and speaks English very well, and the local people were friendly too.
