Nacional Beach Club & Bungalows

Nacional Beach Club had a relaxed, authentic feel and beautiful views. Even the beach vendors were polite and respectful, with no pressure. The food was fresh, flavorful, made to order, and beautifully presented. Drinks came in full-sized glasses, poured generously with high-quality liquor, and every cocktail was smooth and balanced. Liz at reception was especially kind and responsive. When unexpected travel delays came up, she handled everything professionally and made it stress-free. She was welcoming and accommodating from the start. Our waiter, Julien, was attentive and friendly, with great timing and no intrusiveness. The service was bar none the best. The whole experience exceeded expectations, from start to finish. If you're after great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere, this place is a must. Can't wait to return!

We had dinner here one night while staying in Mahahual, and it was excellent. The pizza was really, really good, and the service was exceptional. The decor is amazing, with tiled stone around the fire pizza oven and tile work throughout. Wonderful place, highly recommend.

The room was comfy and clean, and the location is hard to beat. We ate at least six different meals, and every one was superb. The staff were wonderful too. We’ll be back, so don’t miss the chance to stay here.

We had a great day here, with lovely water and music that was spot on. The DJ even played two of my favorite Mexican songs. The meals and drinks were delicious, too. Professor Melissa recommended the place, and we bought a day pass for 10/21 for $135, including the taxi to and from the cruise port. It didn’t feel touristy, and I liked getting a feel for the area and doing a little shopping along the strip. We’ll definitely return. 🚢🥰
