The garden is lovely, and the ice-cold pool is refreshing. It's a humble family-run hotel with plenty of charm, and the rooms, though small and simply furnished, were clean and had good ventilation. The furniture is old and a bit shabby. The prices felt completely out of line with what you get, about what you'd pay at one of Malinalco's luxury boutique hotels. When we raised these concerns with our host Javier, nothing came of it. We chose to leave a day early, and he returned only a fraction of what we'd already paid. His dealings with us seemed driven by an intense need to make money, which felt unpleasant.

The host is really nice, but the room costs a bit much for what it is. Breakfast is included, with eggs, coffee, and fruit. If you're traveling with a pet, though, it's worth considering since the place is pet-friendly and you can keep your furry friend in the room with you.

The rooms are so basic for what they charge, absolutely horrible. The pool is really beautiful, hahaha. Walmart seems better. The hotel Casa Lemon also has a beautiful restaurant, and they don't serve eggs with fruit and beans.
