The restaurant only serves until 1 PM on weekdays, but breakfast, which is included with the room, is very good. The nearby malecón is a pleasant, popular walk for locals and visitors, and the beach feels safe, though its sandy bottom isn’t especially interesting for snorkeling. The hotel is close to both the beach and pool, and the hardworking staff keep the rooms and grounds immaculate. Our room was clean, cool, well lit, and quiet. We had an excellent stay at this venerable hotel, and I’ll definitely stay here again if I return to Manzanillo.

We spent our time relaxing under an umbrella on the beach, so the lack of a TV didn’t bother us. Breakfast is the only meal offered, and it’s wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, or you can take a bus or taxi. The hotel is immaculate, and the owner and employees work hard to make your stay just right.

The breakfast is hard to beat, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They helped with shopping and restaurant suggestions and worked around us while retrieving beach furniture. It’s a budget stay with a pool, a great location, and direct beach access. I’ll definitely come back.

Falling asleep to the sound of waves is lovely, and the bed is comfy. The prices are good, the location works well, and the beach is easy to reach from the pool. I took off a star because there’s no TV or Wi-Fi.

The place was very quiet and right on the beach, but it felt neglected and the room furnishings were spartan, unlike what the online photos suggested. We left after checking out the room. Really disappointing.
