The pool is the best part for me: it’s large, kept immaculate, and surrounded by a patio and tropical garden. The whole facility is clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The receptionist, Heidi, speaks English. HMC has 22 rooms and four modern, spacious bungalows. I’ve stayed in one of the bungalows for several months at a time for more than a decade, and I love it. The hotel is centrally located in Santiago, Colima, near dozens of restaurants and shops, the mercado, and public transportation. Play de Santiago, where you can swim, is an easy walk away.
