The breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices, and there was lots of room to park. Our room was spotless, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We only missed having the pool, which was closed for maintenance, but that made sense in January. We just needed a place for one night and ended up really enjoying it. I plan to stay here whenever I'm in Matamoros.

Breakfast came with fresh eggs, homemade beans, and tortillas. The room was very clean, and housekeeping even folded the toilet paper into ribbons.

The air conditioner barely worked, the shower had no hot water, and the toilet wouldn't flush.

We found the rooms clean and reasonably priced, the staff very nice, and the morning buffet really good. This is the best hotel we've stayed at in Matamoros. But don't reserve through a travel site. They advertise one rate, then add booking fees without telling you, charge your card, and send you the bill. It feels like a total scam, and the hotel can't refund the money. You can't reach Best Western for help either, since they weren't the ones who booked the reservation.
