If you want to grill your own beef, ask for a cabin with a level garden around it. Otherwise, you may be put on the hillside, which isn’t convenient for grilling. The cabins are nicely decorated and make a good romantic getaway when you can book for an off weekend. At other times, it can be pretty costly.

We paid in full in advance for two cabins, one large three-room cabin and one small one-room cabin, while traveling with another couple. We had the reservation details and transfer screenshot to prove it. At arrival, staff said the online system had taken the booking but not passed it on to them, so it was invalid. That excuse made no sense, and they gave us different accommodation: one medium cabin and two small ones. We thought it might be a one-off, but during check-in we saw two other people from separate groups shouting at staff because their reservations weren’t being honored either. It seemed the people there knew about the issue and might keep doing this. I’ve used "Monte Verde" and "Lupita" for around 12 years without problems. I was trying somewhere new and really regret it. I’d strongly recommend using another service.

The cabins are nice and have hot tubs, but things felt disorganized. There’s construction going on, and the people blowing leaves make a lot of noise in the morning when we should be resting.

The staff are so nice, and the place is really clean. Such a beautiful spot, I recommend it.
