Cabaã±as Los Pirineos

We wanted somewhere to unplug and be surrounded by nature, and these cabins deep in the woods fit that perfectly. The forest view is lovely, and the place is comfortable for a family: two double bedrooms, another upstairs with two single beds, a full bathroom, and a living room with TV and Wi-Fi. The kitchen has dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a grill. Nights get very cold, but you can ask reception for firewood and the indoor fireplace warms the cabin well. There are neighboring cabins, so keep noise down after 11 pm. Pets are welcome too. Getting there takes some effort because the road descends quite a bit. There are two little shops before the descent, but they're too far to reach on foot, and you'll need a car. Bring what you need so you don't have to keep driving back to the store. A beautiful spot for a break from your usual routine.

Those adorable dogs were so affectionate during our stay ❤️🙌. The cabins also gave us comfort, privacy, and great service. Of all the options I've tried in Mazamitla, these are my favorite, and we left wanting to return. Highly recommended!

The staff were attentive and friendly whenever we needed help, and the cabins were clean, cared for, and equipped for a comfortable visit. Being surrounded by nature made for a peaceful break from city life. We also liked the location for walks and hikes, or just sitting by the campfire. We had an excellent experience at Cabañas Los Pirineos from start to finish. It's a lovely place to rest and reconnect in Mazamitla. We'd gladly return soon.

The cabin wasn't clean. There was hair in a bedroom and in the shower, plus grass clippings in both the shower and kitchen. The kitchen had no trash bin for food scraps, and there wasn't one in the bathroom for toilet paper either. The shower was awful too: barely any water came out, it was freezing, and a shower took forever. Then the power went out for about two hours in the morning.
