Boca de cielo Apartments

The views from the rooftop are spectacular, with sunsets over the Harbour and a look toward centro historico. The pool level is very nice too, with a full gym and a large jacuzzi upstairs. Staff were excellent, the building felt very secure, and the common areas stayed clean throughout the month I spent there. Noise depends on where you are in this 11-story building, which has 10 apartment floors and 40 units shared by owners and short- and long-term renters. Most of my stay was fine, but neighbors next door or above can get very loud. Apartments facing the parque may be peaceful, or noisy late into the night depending on what’s happening. There’s usually something going on in the mornings as well. The building is fairly new, around 5-6 years old, but the sea and ordinary wear have taken a toll. Some days the drains gave off an unbearable smell. There’s also major construction on the block, with three large towers going up. They were in the concrete-curing stage while I was there, with no banging, but who knows when that might change? 🤔🤷‍♂️ I’d book a short stay first to see how it feels. Staff get 5*, everything else 3.5-4*.
