Condos Tiara

The facility itself is nice, but unit 304 isn't being maintained well by its owner.

The building has frequent power cuts, which leave you unable to use the elevator. Our unit was on the 7th floor. The internet works some days and not others. The pool and hot tub don't seem to get regular chlorination, and the temperature is unpredictable: sometimes too hot, too cold, or without heat at all. There are no pads on the outdoor lounge chairs, and there's no management available to deal with these problems or routine concerns. The three Tiara Sands staff work hard, but they're left to clean all the shared areas, including the pool deck, lobby, entrance, windows, and glass doors, as well as handle pest control. They apply very toxic chemicals without proper protection. Our unit was dirty, and the pillows were disgusting. The filtered water comes out so slowly that getting even half a gallon for cooking takes a long time. I'm surprised there's no central water purification, since the water has an odor. You'd be better off staying pretty much anywhere else on this beach.

We rented an Airbnb here for our summer vacation in Mazatlan, and it was a delightful stay. The complex is comfortable and luxurious, with a lovely sea view from the balcony and a quiet setting that's great for relaxing in the sun. Staff were very kind and always ready to answer questions or help out. There's an elevator as well as stairs, plus a BBQ area, a great pool, and a bubble jacuzzi. I'd recommend it to anyone considering a summer investment.

The pool area and deck overlooking the ocean beach were great, though the condo itself was lacking.
