The hotel felt very safe, and the staff were nice and attentive. They even forgave us for losing the keys.

The beds are too hard, and the WiFi keeps cutting out. When it works, it's far too slow. There's no way to wash clothes or sweep and mop the floors, yet they expect you to do all the cleaning. The rules seem to change every day, depending on what they feel like enforcing. They say no one can be outside in the gated courtyard after 8 pm, and no music is allowed outside at any time, not even from a cell phone. Terrible customer service.

It was nice having secure private parking, and the pool was good too. The rooms were decent, and there are places to go within walking distance. The hotel is also not far from the Malecon and other areas.

Mazatlan is very touristy, and there are lots of places to go. The aquarium was great, and I enjoyed the museums and observatories. But when we were going to check in, two people were doing a drug deal 😱. There were also gunshots at night, so it didn't feel very safe 🤩.
