We’re so happy to be VI members and stay at Torres Mazatlan. Our room is comfortable, updated, and wonderful. The resort is right on the beach, with a heated pool that’s great for swimming and our daily exercise. The poolside restaurant is inviting, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. There are two happy hours and plenty of nightly dinner specials, which made our two-week getaway feel just right. We’ve been eating at La Palapa restaurant most nights. The Monday dinner and Sunday brunch were wonderful, with a great view, sunset, food, and drinks. The thick beef filet was tender and cooked just right. On BBQ night, the ribs were delicious and the meat fell off the bone. Prime rib night was great too, tender and cooked just right. The Saturday steak dinner had a thick, tender filet, and the Spanish music was nice. We also loved the hot popcorn shrimp. The Lemon drops and red wine made for a romantic dinner. The Thursday prime rib was tender and delicious, and happy hour drinks plus a glass of wine with dinner made it a lovely experience. Good going, VI resorts!

It was pricey, but the prime rib dinner was worth mentioning. One of the best pieces I’ve had, cooked perfectly medium rare, tender, juicy, and delicious.

We’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Love love love Torres Mazatlán! It’s a great place to unwind beside the enormous pool, with poolside service from their wonderful restaurant. The staff are always attentive and helpful, and they always have a smile.

We’ve stayed here more than three times and will keep coming back. The rooms are modern and nice, the restaurant is great, and the staff are really friendly. They have two happy hours each day, and prime rib night was great. Everything we ordered was excellent. My only complaint is that the room cleaning service is poor, most likely because they’re being cheap after covid?

There’s plenty to do nearby, including shopping, activities, and public transportation, but it’s also a place where you can just relax and do nothing. The rooms have ocean views, and you can walk straight from the resort onto the beach and swim when conditions allow. The staff are great, the rooms clean, and the grounds beautifully maintained. The restaurant offers great food and variety. There’s security, a lifeguard, ample parking, and gated access.
