The design is lovely, and stepping inside, you get that luxurious hotel scent. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming, and having service around the clock was great. Parking costs extra, though; we paid 120 a day. I’d stay here again.

I only booked one night and immediately wished I’d planned for longer. It’s a pretty little boutique hotel, with a welcoming, helpful front desk and lovely restaurant service. My room was at the back, so it stayed quiet all night. I liked leaving the windows open and using the fan. No AC needed.

Breakfast is amazing, so include it. The grounds are charming and the staff are friendly. With just nine rooms, you end up chatting with other guests and may even make friends, which gives the place a personal feel. One thing to know: if you’re in a front room and want to sleep late, a sound machine helps.

The breakfast was probably the best food we had, and the hotel has a lot of Mexican charm. It’s centrally located, and the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room faced the front, so there was some noise, though it didn’t spoil the trip. We’d stay here again if we return to Merida.
