The room was tiny, though the bed and pillows were fine, and the WiFi worked. Breakfast was basic, just toast and fruit from 8-10. The kitchen for guests was genuinely disgusting, and there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. We also had to ask for sheets. The camera in the dorm made me uneasy, since it might have a view into our so-called private room, which only had walls halfway to the ceiling. There were very few people around and no atmosphere. It costs less than other places, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't come back, though it wasn't completely awful.

The bed itself was clean and comfortable, and the price is lower than other hostels nearby. Still, we left after one night and wouldn't return. We chose the slightly cheaper private room over two dorm beds, but it sits inside the dorm and its walls stop halfway up, with no ceiling. A camera in the dorm was visible from all parts of our tiny room, which felt deeply unsettling. The dorm lights came on several times during the night and lit our room completely. After 11pm, the man at the desk turned them on to use the only men's bathroom, which is also in the dorm, and left them on afterward. Our bed hadn't been fully made, so we had to ask for sheets, and dorm guests had the same issue. There was even a tip jar on the bedside table. Bathrooms had no toilet paper, and the showerheads were badly rusted. The shared kitchen was filthy despite there being hardly any guests: dirty dishes piled up in an overflowing sink, raw ingredients were molding on counters and in cupboards, and fruit flies and other bugs were everywhere. I assume breakfast came from there. We got two pieces of bread and a small plate of sliced fruit that smelled slightly foul, nothing like the breakfast shown in other reviews. It was a pretty awful stay.

I liked the atmosphere, and the furniture looked really nice.

Quick and easy.

The staff were quite friendly, the price was fair, and the facilities were good. The bed I had was surprisingly comfortable for this kind of place. There is a fan, but no air conditioning, and the bathrooms and showers are shared, of course. If money isn't especially tight, I'd lean toward a hotel, where you don't have to share and you may find a better bed if you choose carefully.
