Tranquil Tropical Oasis in the Historic Center

Esther was kind, and the breakfast she made in the morning was lovely. The room had an appreciated Smart TV, and aside from two problems, everything was perfect. The place itself is cute, clean, and very nice. But our room felt damp and smelled musty, likely from the heat and humidity. Maybe better ventilation would help. The walls were also so thin that sounds from outside and neighboring rooms carried right in.

Breakfast was great, with eggs, coffee, fresh fruit, and croissants for a good Mexican-style start. The small pool was a welcome way to cool off, and supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to the center. This is a lovely hotel, recently renovated in a colonial style. The rooms feel modern, comfortable, and clean, and the friendly staff take care of concerns right away.

The hotel is comfortable and nice, and the rooms are spacious. My only room complaint is the beds: at 180 by 140 cm, they're small and barely fit a couple. The center is a bit of a walk, so be prepared for 15-20 minutes to the main Plaza.

Hotel Boutique Casa Azuli was just the retreat I needed from my house in Cholul. The customer service was impeccable.
