Armonik Suites

Back for my second stay, and I still like how well located this hotel is. The room is spacious, with a kitchen, a small living room, and a queen sized bed. There are lots of restaurants nearby, small supermarkets in the area, and a little coffee shop around the corner.

The suite is nice and spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and it’s on a quieter street. The bathroom is ridiculously tiny, though, and the gym isn’t much of a gym with just two machines.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and there are good restaurants just a few blocks away in a nice neighborhood. The Angel of Independence is a very short walk. The property is clean and well maintained. There’s no laundry on site, but a very good laundry is only a few blocks away. I’d suggest an interior room since the exterior can get rather noisy.

Good location, good bed and room, and the staff are good. Still, I wouldn’t recommend it to international visitors. They seem distrustful of visitors from the start, and you’ll find only a dishwasher, salt, and pepper in the kitchen. Everything else is charged to the room, even water. There’s no bellboy service, you have to use the stairs to enter or leave, and some of the electrical outlets don’t work.
