Blueground Ava Rio Rhin in Mexico City

Don't stay here. The Wi-Fi couldn't even load my email, and they threw away my belongings without apologizing. The hospitality was terrible.

The ninth-floor view is fantastic, and the apartment has what you need, though there's no coffee maker. It gets really hot with just one air conditioner for the whole floor. The location is great, but getting documents handled by email can be frustrating: they sometimes don't reply or take a long time.

We had to move all our belongings to an identical room one floor up, and it cost us almost half a day. We'd made two reservations and had clearly asked from the start to stay in the same room, but they apparently hadn't read the request and later called it "complicated." The management seemed unprepared, and the way they handled data privacy was concerning. We couldn't cancel, so it made for an unpleasant stay. The rooms were very clean and organized, but street noise made sleeping impossible. Dogs across the road barked all night. That's not the property's fault, though for the price I'd expect better soundproofing, especially since the noise really affects the property's value.

It's clean and feels safe, with a very central location. In the mornings, tamale and atole vendors set up on the corner, and there's a great coffee spot across the street. A really good experience.
