Bristol Hotel

The location was the one bright spot, with malls and restaurants easy to walk to. We found hair in the sheets, the rooms felt dated and dirty, and the beds were so hard and uncomfortable that after four nights we cancelled the rest of our stay and moved elsewhere. The shower was just okay, very sensitive, though the water was hot. We had to reset our keys every day, there was nowhere to refill our bottles, and the included breakfast was terrible. For what it cost, we expected better.

The location is wonderful, and the price feels fair for what you get. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and cordial. The restaurant was good, though pricey. The elevators ran a little slowly, but it wasn't a big problem. A great place to stay in CDMX.

The rooms were comfortable, and both the service and location were perfect. At that price, though, they should take better care of the rooms. Ours were a little dusty.

Update 2024: I've used this hotel for many years, but service has gone downhill quickly over the past year. I’ve lowered my rating from 4 stars to 2. A pity. 2018: Good value for money, with a well-kept, clean property and a very good location. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the in-house restaurant was okay. The hotel has an old wing and a new wing, and is probably 30 or 40 years old. There's parking and a small gym.
