The low price and location are the pluses, and Edith, the employee, was nice. But the room was so hot that the stay was unbearable, with barely any ventilation. There were two windows, one wouldn’t open and the other opened only a couple of inches. Its design didn’t let much air in anyway. There’s no sign outside, and the whole place felt kind of sketchy, like an off-the-books hostel.

It’s excellent value, with a great location at a very affordable price. Just be aware there are stairs and no heating. If you’re going in DEC-JAN, you’ll freeze, like I did.

They cancelled our booking on the day and still charged me 400 euros. I’ve spent nearly two months trying to get the money back, but they haven’t replied or given any indication they’ll return it.

I liked staying here. It’s close to everything, in one of the best parts of Mexico City. Recommended.
