The location is great, near the LGBT scene, and the area usually feels safe. Staff are really friendly, and the beds are comfortable, with clean, comfy sheets. Each bed has a curtain and an electric outlet. Lockers come with a key, so you don't need to bring your own lock. The restroom could use some cleaning, and the air conditioner was never turned on. They sell cleaning products at reception, including toothpaste and soap, which is a plus.

There's no free water or coffee, and they wanted 40 pesos just to use a locker an hour before check-in. They nickel and dime you for everything. I've lived in hostels for 1 1/2 years, and this is easily one of the worst I've stayed in. There's no atmosphere, which is a shame because the building has potential. The location doesn't make up for it. Avoid!

For the money, this is probably the best choice in that area of Mexico City downtown. It's the cheapest option, so don't expect anything fancy. The capsule setup gives you a bit more privacy than another hostel, though it still feels a lot like bunk beds. Shared rooms, only a few bathrooms, and showers that you can't adjust. Sometimes the water is cold, sometimes just warm. There's no kitchen, only a microwave. It's fine if all you need is somewhere to spend the night.

The staff were kind, and the location was great if you want to be near La Roma, La Condesa, or Paseo de la Reforma. There are some nice restaurants and cafés nearby, including El Ermitaño, where they have good pizza promotions. The pictures make the hostel look much bigger, though the website does show that our room was 6m2, so we knew it'd be small. We liked having lockers in the private room. Compared with another hostel we'd stayed at, this one was smaller and less good. They don't provide complimentary water, the mixed showers are behind the lobby and a bit of a trek from the room, and the wi-fi in our room barely worked for one day.

Three of the five shower stalls had hair all over them. At checkout they charged me 50 pesos, not because I'd lost a key, but because I'd lost the fabric piece on its keychain with the Hostel's name on it. Stay somewhere nicer and less expensive. This place felt like a complete scam.
