I only started my stay today, but the room has an old TV and old carpet. You need specific ID to get a remote control. The toilet, shower, and sink are all in one room with no separation, so bring sandals unless you want wet feet. The worst part is the single outlet. There are three of us, each with a phone, an iPad, and a battery pack to charge, but only one item can be plugged in at a time. The window opens without a screen, so bugs can fly in, and do. There’s no ceiling fan either. The elevator is modern but small.

The carpet was in bad shape, and the stay was horrible. They refunded our money after we found bed bugs. They put new beds over the bugs under the bed, so obviously the room will keep having bed bugs. My brother was bitten all over.

The location is spot on, and the manager and team are clearly putting in real effort to improve the place. The rooms can get a little noisy, and there's no restaurant or breakfast on site.

I stayed here in February 2024 after seeing plenty of comments about bedbugs, but I didn't run into any problems and everything seemed fine. It's a budget hotel, so the room is basic. The big plus is the location: Bellas Artes is two blocks away, and you can walk to the Zócalo in about ten minutes.

For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how much room I had, and it wasn't especially noisy. The bed and bathroom were clean, and the modern elevator was a nice touch. Wi-Fi was okay outside peak hours. The old TV had blurred colors, and the carpet left the room smelling a bit shabby. Staff had that old-fashioned professional courtesy. It's cheap and close to the center.
