Hotel Fleming

My husband and I stayed two nights and would gladly come back. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the bathroom was clean and nice, with a sliding shower door. It was quiet during our stay, and the wifi worked great the whole time. The staff were friendly and helpful. La Alameda is only about a two-minute walk away, and the room, location, and price were all great value. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The room and bed have been excellent on every visit, and the rooms are better than what you usually get at non-five-star hotels, even if the building itself isn't much to look at. I've stayed here on and off for years in Mexico City, and the rates seem to have gone up each time. They charge quite a bit extra when more than one person is staying, which I don't like. There's a restaurant next door that also offers room service, though it never seems busy. The front desk staff have been unfriendly and not very helpful to travelers. The owner also seems to hang around all the time, which strikes me as odd.

We picked this hotel because parking was included for free with the reservation. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and Alameda Park is only about a five-minute walk away. A really good, affordable option.

The restaurant in the hotel is handy and reasonably priced, and the location makes it easy to walk to lots of sights. I've stayed at the Fleming several times. Most rooms have been a decent size with a good bathroom, though I did get a small interior room once.
