Hotel La Luna

I spent 5 days here and would definitely come back. It’s clean, quiet, and cozy, with a good spot near Azteca stadium. The staff were courteous and helpful, the price was reasonable, and there’s great local food nearby. You can’t ask for more.

The rooms have poor ventilation and no AC or ceiling fans. There are no fans in the rooms, and asking the front desk for one is a coin toss. The tiny sliding window barely lets in a breeze, while the heat-soaked walls bake you. There aren’t any outlets by the window, so you can’t even bring in cooler air from outside. I stayed in two rooms: the first felt like an uncomfortable, badly decorated concrete prison cell, while the second was decorated very nicely. The front desk staff also seemed to have issues. When I tried to book by phone, they kept telling me to call back after 8, which was very unprofessional, so I had to book through a non-hotel app. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room has no AC or ventilation, so you have to leave the window open at night to cool it down. They need to improve the hotel, and the price doesn’t feel average considering that.

It looks a lot better once you’re there. Good access and service, and the prices are very competitive.
