Hotel Oxford

For the price, the rooms are huge, and the staff are super friendly. The place is clean and tidy, with reliable Wi-Fi and hot water that works great. It’s very close to two metro lines, with loads of local cafes and bars nearby. A great budget spot. Highly recommend!

It’s in a quiet spot with a view of the park and a pool. The staff are helpful around the clock, and daily cleaning is available. Highly recommended.

The building is old, with narrow halls, and the shower was like a mini fire hose. I really wanted to try the bidet, but only at home, haha. The rooms were sparkling clean, though, and that level of cleanliness and service makes up for the place not being new and shiny, or as clean as the big places. The hotel is about a mile from the Trevi fountain and four miles from the Vatican, with Uber and taxis available all around. When we arrived, the front desk was warm and welcoming. We had a wheelchair, and since the hotel is so old, it’s grandfathered in on accessibility. They quickly built a wooden ramp to cover the three steps to the elevator, which only fits three people. They gave the wheelchair user the only suite on the floor and explained how to get around the area. They also insisted on taking care of our luggage, and got offended when we tried to carry it ourselves. There were about 20 pieces for eight people. The bar and breakfast kitchen staff were amazing too. I didn’t expect that level of service in such an old building. I have a feeling that’s why the hotel is still in business. Yes, it’s a love hotel. The room smelled like an ashtray, but at least the bed was big :D
