My room was clean and nicely renovated. The rest of the hotel still felt like a construction site, with dust and building materials around the reception, parking lot, and hallways. I think it’ll be very nice once the work is finished.

The room and bathroom both had plenty of space. Hot water was available around the clock, the bed was bug-free, and the cleaning was good.

I visited Mexico City on December 27th, 2024, and I know I left my glasses in the room. We called to let them know, but they said they hadn’t found any. I don’t believe them. Why keep someone else’s prescription glasses? It makes no sense. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give. Thieves. Ojala y les sirvan de algo mis lentes ya que se los embolsaron.

I had booked a non-smoking room, but the smoke smell was so strong that my clothes still reeked afterward. The linens and tables were burned, too. When I politely asked the receptionist to move me to the room I’d reserved, he got aggressive and said I could either stay in that smoky room or leave, at midnight. I had to stay with the windows open and was freezing. I slept maybe an hour and got a bad headache from the heavy cigarette smell. People were smoking in the room next door as well. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and I only gave one star because there’s no zero-star option.
