Lombardo Suites

The breakfast is simple, but it was decent. Most of the staff were kind, though they didn’t smile much. I also ran into hygiene issues, and the housekeepers seemed to clean only what was immediately visible, so the rooms weren't properly cleaned.

The staff were helpful and brought us towels quickly, almost immediately when we asked. There’s plenty of light from outside and through the bathroom area, which may bother some people. The toilet and shower are behind a door, but the sink area has no door. A frosted glass wall separates it, though you can still make out shapes, so without the curtain the whole room can see you. The curtain divides the kitchen and living area from the bedroom, and with the sofa bed it can sleep four, but it really feels designed for two, like a couple. Great location, with good food right around the corner.

The suite is quite nice and the location is good, but the breakfast could use improvement. Light is a problem for me as a sensitive sleeper: the kitchen has a large uncovered window, and there are both motion-sensing and constant lights. There’s also a lot of glass in the bathroom, including glass adjoining the bed, while it’s very bright outside. If light doesn't bother you, you may be fine.

The rooms were really clean and nice, and the service was excellent. They were very accommodating, and breakfast is included. There wasn't an iron, but otherwise it was a lovely stay. The location is prime. Would recommend!
