The receptionists were kind and helpful, and the rooms were spotless with comfortable beds. They also leave some nice things for your stay: hand soap, shampoo and body wash in large bottles, Kleenex, a couple of waters, sandals, a bottle of water, and candy. The service and rooms were excellent from start to finish. Great value for the price, and you won’t find a better hotel or motel on Insurgentes Avenue. I loved it, come enjoy it with your partner. 🤙🏽🫰🏽👍🏽

The restaurant is good, room service is quick, and there’s plenty nearby. The place feels modern, clean, and comfortable, though there’s no furniture in the rooms, just lots of ledges, and the beds are built into tiled masonry. Without a desk or table, you end up eating or working in bed. There’s a huge Jacuzzi, the sort that seems made for a party, naughty grown-ups or a wild kids’ sleepover. Odd, but not in a bad way. I’ve spoken Spanish for twenty years and still can’t understand half the staff, lol.

I picked one of the cheaper rooms in the area called Las villitas. It was very clean, came with a few freebies, and had room service and a parking space for the car. It felt very secure. The regular rooms are another option if you need somewhere overnight or just for a short nap. Two things bothered me: the entry light switched itself on even when nobody was in the corridor, which was creepy, and with the curtains drawn the room was still quite visible when the light was on.

We stayed with family for almost two weeks in January 2015, and the clean rooms and price are what brought us here and kept us here. The rate was $520 peso (about $40usd), which felt very reasonable, and the accommodations were good. The hotel is in a handy central spot in Tlalpan, close enough to walk to markets and shopping centre's, and right by the metrobus line. There are decent, reasonably priced meals at the restaurant, plus lots of local places along both sides of the street. I wouldn’t recommend bringing children on a weekend, since the clientele changes quite a bit, if you know what I mean ;). I’m from Ontario, Canada.
