Lúmina Luxury Suites

Things were good, though I wouldn’t count on breakfast being much. My room had a kitchen, so that wasn’t a problem for me. I actually enjoyed making my own.

The area has great food just around the corner, and the staff have been quick to bring towels and other things when asked. The main issue with the room is privacy. There’s no door for the sink area, though the toilet and shower do have one. The sink is separated from the bed by a frosted glass wall, but you can still make out shapes, and without the curtain dividing the bedroom from the kitchen and living space, everyone could see you. The curtain helps make the couch bed work for four, but really the room feels designed for a couple. Light comes in from outside and through the bathroom area too.

The suite is otherwise very nice and the location is good, but the breakfast could be better. I’m sensitive to light while sleeping, and that was a problem: the kitchen has a large uncovered window with lights that come on with motion as well as lights that stay on. There’s also a lot of glass in the bathroom, including glass connecting to the bed area, and it’s very bright outside.

The rooms were very clean and nice, and the service was excellent. The team was accommodating, and breakfast was included. There wasn’t an iron, but otherwise it was a lovely stay. I’d recommend it!
