Mala Vecindad Centro Historico

I had a blast at the wedding here. The bride’s aunt owns the place, and I was invited through my cousins. It’s full of good energy and fun. Gracias TIA!!! I’d happily recommend the venue for a wedding.

We’re already counting down to coming back next season. My wife and I loved the food and the atmosphere inside the hotel, and the prices in MXN made everything pretty affordable. It’s also a great base for experiencing local food and people, with lots of spots in Centro Historico within walking distance.

The staff were excellent, and the views are incredible. The hotel looks great in photos, and the reception is pretty, but there wasn’t much else going on and there weren’t enough plug sockets. My dorm room, shared with three other people, was the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in. It felt cramped, had no air conditioning, and wasn’t worth the money. It was clean but humid and really needed fresh air. The bathroom was a decent size by comparison. I wouldn’t book that room or stay here again.

We were only there for one night, so it was okay. The staff did their jobs, though I wouldn’t call them friendly. The rooms were very small and had no air conditioning. The neighborhood also felt less safe than other parts of Mexico City we visited, and I wouldn’t go out alone at night.
