The location was a highlight, with lots within walking distance. Turn right from the hotel for the shopping strip, restaurants, and historical sites; turn left for local spots like little hole-in-the-wall restaurants, tasty ice cream shops, and old small churches. The rooms were nice and welcoming, though one of ours was noticeably smaller than the other. Employees and managers were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I’m not sure whether they knew English. I’d stay again. One note: ask if you want the room cleaned daily, especially if you want fresh towels each day.

Alameda is about a 10-minute walk away, and the location is excellent.

Once inside, the place felt safe and was clean, and it’s close to many downtown attractions. But if you don’t speak English, staying here may be very frustrating. No one at the facility spoke English, so I had to rely on online translation. WiFi was free but only worked in the apartment, which made communication difficult. Local Uber and taxi drivers often couldn’t find the building, and there’s no name on it. I missed several connections because of these problems. The hotel concierges didn’t speak English either and couldn’t really help. Getting around outside also depended on having mobile data.
