The Ritz-Carlton Residences Mexico City

The room view was impeccable, and my cousin's bridal suite was beautiful. We also found the gym amenities sufficient. The staff were amazing and helpful, the location was wonderful, and the beds were super comfortable. I especially liked the spa, including a properly hot sauna and steam room. The pool felt like a warm bath, which was lovely in February when the weather wasn't very warm. I enjoyed the cocktails on floor 38, but the restaurant there was disappointing. I found much better food around town, so I'd suggest exploring for meals. They offered a special welcome cocktail at 6 PM, but you had to be seated in the restaurant then. We arrived at 6:04 and were told we couldn't have it. There was also leftover food in my refrigerator when I checked in that smelled a bit bad. I threw it away and didn't mention it to staff. Even with those things, we had a great time, and I'd recommend the Ritz Carlton in Mexico City.

The concierge team helped me get reservations at two hugely popular restaurants that were sold out online, even before I checked in. They also surprised me with a sweet birthday setup in the room during my amazing four-night birthday stay. My room had fantastic city views and stayed clean and quiet. Housekeeping kept it spotless every day. The location made it easy to walk to local taco trucks, fine dining in Polanco, and some of North America's best bars. I'll definitely stay here again on my next CDMX trip.

The food and service made me want to come back. My watermelon salad and burger were both delicious, and the fries were cooked just right. The margaritas were great too, especially if that's your kind of cocktail. Samo's is on the 38th floor, so the views are lovely. We skipped the outdoor seating because it was too hot, but sitting by the window was just as nice. I'd happily return if I'm in the area again.

We celebrated my partner's 50th birthday here, and the staff made the occasion feel special with genuinely attentive, personal service. Every detail, from housekeeping to the concierge, reflected the standard you hope for from Ritz-Carlton. Our room looked out over Chapultepec Park and the Mexico City skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was spacious, modern, and comfortable, with lovely touches like a deep soaking tub. The hotel sits high above Paseo de la Reforma, and the view was beautiful throughout the day. We also enjoyed the spa, indoor pool, fitness center, and the dining and bar options. The whole stay was extraordinary, one of the best hotel experiences we've had anywhere. We'll be back! ✌🏿 & ❤️
