The hotel is good, but the area around it feels unsettling, with too many informal businesses on the street. I didn’t feel safe walking outside the hotel or the mall.

For this price and prestige, there are better choices with better pricing and services. The Front Desk can’t sort out Booking issues or payments, and the call center is awful. The Credit Card processor takes several tries. If something goes wrong with your booking, no one can help, and you just keep getting, “I can’t help you with that answer!” When you submit a ticket to Customer Care Service, they openly state false situations because they’re urgently trying to close each case. Quite disappointing.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and spoke English, which was nice. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from, including chilaquiles, pork stew, pastries, cereal, eggs, and fruit. Being attached to a mall made it easy to find food, with several options. Some areas beyond the mall didn’t seem safe, though I’m sure they would have been okay during the day. It was a nice stay.

Having the mall downstairs is handy for finding different kinds of food, shopping, or going to the cinema. The hotel itself has lots of facilities, and the rooftop gym has a nice view. It isn’t cheap, but breakfast was good and included local dishes. The staff were very kind and offered solutions for whatever you might need. It’s great having a good hotel and mall together.
