The back nine is the highlight, with signature par 3s one after another and amazing views. The front nine was mostly uneventful, but we really enjoyed the course and would play again. It felt a bit expensive given the condition of some areas. The greens were fine, but many bunkers need maintenance, the rental clubs didn't match, and the clubhouse could use work. It isn't a TPC track, and the price shouldn't suggest that it is. Also, don't book through GN, since the course apparently ignores its bookings.

Ramone is great at sorting out tee times, and the staff were friendly and easygoing. The course is a lot of fun, especially the very scenic back nine. Greens and fairways were in good shape when we played in December/Jan 2026. Rentals were expensive for the condition of the carts and clubs.

This course has been allowed to fall into terrible shape. At $180 USD, playing here is a total rip-off. Stay away from the resort and golf course.

The views were decent, but they couldn't rescue the visit. Loreto Bay Golf Course was a letdown, with patchy greens and neglected fairways that made it feel more like an overgrown backyard than a proper course. The prices were astronomical. For about the same money, we could have played much nicer courses with similar views. Staff were unhelpful and seemed indifferent when we raised the poor conditions and high prices. They were very unwilling to accommodate us and showed little regard for customer satisfaction. I'd strongly advise saving your time and money for somewhere that maintains its facilities and values its customers. Two stars only for the views. Everything else fell short.

This place looks like a cow pasture and, to me, is worth $40 USD at most, not $164. I chose not to play. There was no service and the facilities were run down. If I owned a property here, I'd be very concerned. It seems clear this place has limited time left as a going concern.
