The lobby and service were good, and the rooms were clean and decent. But both the sink and shower drained very slowly. Breakfast was a letdown despite the positive reviews. Maybe it was because we went during the week and hardly anyone was there. I’d put it closer to 3.5 stars.

Some rooms look out toward the famous clock tower, which is a nice bonus, and the hotel is centrally located. The building is old, there’s an elevator, but strangely no ramp at the entrance. They take credit cards and leave two bottles of water in the room. Toiletries are very basic, so bring your own. The bathroom water smelled odd when I first turned it on, though I’m not sure why.

The restaurant was pleasant and served good food, and both its staff and the hotel staff were very friendly. We had a nice suite, though the plumbing felt a bit worn. It’s a great base for exploring Pachuco Centro.

The rooms were quiet and nicely equipped, and the hotel itself is beautiful with tasteful decor. I was disappointed by the breakfast for the price, and the TV selection wasn’t great either, since all the foreign films and shows were dubbed.

The service was okay and our room was clean, but my family and I spent four nights in room #107 and barely slept. There’s a storage room or some kind of shop visible through the window, where hotel employees seemed to be doing repairs all night. We heard metal banging and grinding, along with people talking. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again.
