We slept fantastically here, with no noise in the rooms at night. It’s a small, comfortable, beautiful place for anyone looking for peace and quiet, rather than a commercial hotel. The hotel sits on a mountainside about five minutes from downtown Patzcuaro, with a great view of the surrounding area and double cabins among the trees. The rooms have hot water and were very clean, with not a single insect. The bathroom could perhaps use a little more attention, but it’s nothing major. There’s no TV, which is great. If you still need to stay connected, cell reception is good.

The cabins are especially peaceful at night, surrounded by spectacular nature. It’s a great spot for visiting the town center or just taking time to relax. Breakfast and the pool are excellent, and the whole stay feels truly unique.

At night, the view is magnificent, with the constellations clearly visible, and in the morning there are hummingbirds in the trees. It’s relatively close to the town center. It’s now a subdivision or gated community, and a good option.

The rooms are clean, and the place is wonderfully quiet, with a pool and paths through the woods where you can spend time among the trees. The forest setting gives it a lovely view and feels true to its name. There are no TVs, and local insects are part of being out in nature. If you want luxury and every modern amenity, this probably isn't the right fit.
