We still love Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal and have stayed several times. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff make us feel welcome with their warmth and professionalism. We’ll definitely return. The food was outstanding this visit. We think the chef or kitchen team may have changed, and we liked the room updates too. We ordered room service three times, which is rare for us at other resorts. We’d read comments that the hotel felt different after the renovation, but that wasn’t really our experience. Email replies were slower, and room upgrades seemed more conservative. We’d been lucky to get incredible upgrades before, and may have gotten a little spoiled. This time we were told the hotel was full and some suite categories weren’t available for upgrades. At checkout, though, when I asked when low season was, I was told it was right then, which made me laugh a bit. Of course, upgrades aren’t guaranteed and they don’t define our stay. The service, setting, food, and overall feel still make this one of the best luxury resorts we’ve visited.

The staff took such good care of us, and I felt pampered the whole week at the Waldorf in Cabo. The views across the resort are stunning, the rooms are beautiful, and having a private plunge pool was such a fun perk. Every afternoon, they delivered chips, guac, and Coronas to our room, a lovely touch. The food and drinks were delicious, though very expensive. I also had one of the best massages of my life at the spa. I’d only been to Mexico once before and wasn’t especially impressed, but this place exceeded all my expectations. I can’t wait to come back someday.

For our first visit to Cabo and a Waldorf Astoria, we had a wonderful stay. The service was thoughtful throughout, from afternoon guacamole and beer to treats left before bed each night. We had excellent dinners at Don Manuel’s and El Farallon. El Farallon is worth considering if you want a memorable cliffside meal that felt Michelin-level. The cafe coffee costs more, but it was so good that I thought it was worth every penny. Those private pools kept at 85 degrees were a marvelous addition. We hope to return with our families.

We came away with mixed feelings about Waldorf Astoria Pedregal, but ended up loving the stay and not wanting to leave. The resort is secluded and beautiful, and the service was exceptional. Staff learned our names and did everything they could to make the visit enjoyable. We loved the big, gorgeous room, walking around the property, the privacy, and the chips and salsa waiting in the room. In person, the rooms looked amazing, even though the photos had made them seem a little dated. There were some annoying quirks: cold pools, confusing room lighting, a few mosquitoes inside, outdated TVs, and a bed that wasn’t especially comfortable. Breakfast was odd too. The included continental option was really good, but the buffet add-on disappointed us. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, where the service and food were great. Dinner at El Farallon didn’t wow us for the food, but the experience itself did. We’ll definitely be back. We really loved it overall.

Everything we needed was handled quickly, and the concierge was helpful and prompt when we texted. The staff were consistently on top of things, and the service was unlike anything I’ve experienced. The facility is first-rate and very quiet, with a separate pool for kids and another for adults. The upstairs bar by the lobby was top-notch too. I can’t remember the bartender’s name, but he was the best. This place is expensive, so if you’re aware of that going in, you’ll have a great time.
