The water was beautiful, and the food and service were both great. We came on an excursion from our cruise in 2023. Bring water shoes, though: a few rocks made walking in the shallows uncomfortable. We’d absolutely recommend it and can’t wait to come back.

Kayaking on the lagoon was peaceful and beautiful, and the kayaks were in good shape. It was a lovely break from everyday noise. We also had fabulous tacos and sauces, so we’ll definitely return. The rooms weren’t open during our day visit, so we couldn’t see them, but the resort is well maintained and I’d expect the rooms to be too.

The staff were very nice, and the food that day was tasty and filling. There were plenty of kayaks and inner tubes, though the waterfront could use a few more umbrellas. The place is small but very clean and spacious. There’s no beach, but getting to the lagoon is easy. Near shore it’s very rocky, slippery, and shallow. Also, the short lane from the highway is a long, slow, bumpy drive, so you’ll hate it if you don’t like rough roads.

Our Maya tour guide brought us for lunch, and the food, drinks, and staff were all fantastic. The secluded location, immaculate grounds, and beautiful lagoon made this feel like a hidden gem. If we’d known it was a full resort, we would have stayed here.

We visited on a cruise excursion and didn’t stay in the rooms. The lagoon and resort are gorgeous, and the food was good. Our guide was courteous, polite, organized, and really knowledgeable about the area. They could use more changing rooms.
