Condominio Gaudi

We came for the third time, and this visit was meant to be special for my dad’s daughters: it was going to be our first time taking our babies to the beach. My dad usually handles the reservations, and there was a mix-up this time. It was annoying, but it should have been a secondary issue. The check-in service was awful. The person checking us in pushed us to decide right away whether we were staying, even though we needed to talk by phone with the rest of the family, who hadn’t arrived yet. She complained loudly that we weren’t hurrying and said goodbye sarcastically. When I asked if she wouldn’t wait for our decision, she explained her “Well, I’m leaving now, bye!” by saying she urgently needed to turn off her stove. The apartment was incredibly dusty when we arrived. The sofas were sandy, and there was a line of dust behind the bathroom door. During our week there, the apartments were cleaned only three times. We’d specifically asked them not to clean one of the apartments because we had pets, but the apartments that did need cleaning only got a superficial clean. The dust and sand stayed on the sofas and in the bathroom. They even came to clean at 7:30 pm two days before we left, just as we were about to check in. We didn’t complain because of the trouble we’d already had when we arrived. It’s a very nice place, but guest service and cleaning definitely need attention. There was never any hot water either, which was essential for us because of the children.

Cockroaches swarm all over you here, and they leave bones scattered around. They don’t seem to care that dogs might eat them and damage their intestines. I have pictures. Avoid this place if you can. The water is saltwater too. Come here if you want to ruin your skin and hair.

The space is roomy, the view is spectacular, and the people were incredibly kind. I loved that it’s pet-friendly, and the relaxed staff made it feel like a real vacation. This year everything was great apart from losing electricity and water. CFE fixed the power, but I couldn’t check on the water because it was time to check out. Even with that very annoying issue, I’ll definitely return. Hopefully the electricity and water will be better next time, haha. Beautiful memories from this place. I loved it ♡

There’s a very old black dog on the beach who joined us on our walks and watched over my dog the whole time. If you can, give her some bottled drinking water or a little food. She’s so grateful, and what a great guide! The beach was clean, the hotel was quiet and spotless, and the view was excellent. They let my dog stay at no extra charge. Marlene was a big help with the food, and we’ll definitely be back. I even saw a whale early one morning. The only downside was that the shower and sink water in our room was salty, though apparently that’s normal for the area.
