Hotel Casa Shula Acapulco

The common areas are lovely, and the parking lot right in front is spacious. We had a car, so the location wasn’t a problem for us, even though it’s 35 minutes from the hotel zone. We only used the hotel to sleep. There’s no food or drink service, but there are tables, chairs, and umbrellas in one area. The staff were excellent. Our first room had a loose lock, and they replaced it. Some upkeep is still needed: there’s saltpeter in a few areas, no televisions, and the room we got didn’t have a lock on the bathroom door. I’d also suggest adding more lights around the pool, since it’s very dark at night.

A quiet, peaceful place with a great location. The facilities are very comfortable, and the service was very good. The staff were professional and really attentive. A great place to relax.

At night you can hear the spectacular sound of the waves, even though the hotel itself doesn’t have an ocean view. The beach is just a few steps away, and Pie de la Cuesta beach is quiet with a family-friendly feel. During our visits to Casa Shula, we’ve found the rooms clean and the pool clean and well-maintained. The pool is just for guests, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. It’s an ideal place to relax.
