The location worked really well for us. Mega is about a four-minute walk away, the closest beach takes around ten minutes on foot, and Playa car beach is about twenty minutes away. Restaurants and cafes are all around, and we felt safe walking early or late, while still using common sense. We paid $110USD/night for a two-bedroom condo and stayed seven days in February 2023. The balcony was a nice spot to hang out, and the front desk and booking staff were friendly and responsive. But they never fixed the water pressure, which is the main reason I can’t recommend the place. You can’t run two water sources at once anywhere in the apartment. A toilet flush can leave another bathroom without water, and a shower takes about twenty minutes because the flow is so weak. Even with one tap on, there’s barely enough water to get things done. The supplies were sparse too: two rolls of toilet paper per bedroom and bathroom, two each of bath, face, and beach towels, and one set of sheets. Getting a refresh costs $30USD. The kitchen had only two dish towels and no paper towels, though there were plenty of plates and utensils, plus two pots and pans, a toaster, and a coffee maker. There were other annoyances. The couch had obvious stains, the AC remote batteries were dead, and Bedroom 1’s AC leaked onto the floor. The closet drawers kept springing back open. With better water pressure and more towels, sheets, and toilet paper, I’d have rated it four stars. I think the pressure problem is in the building and would take major upgrades, so I doubt it’ll be fixed soon.

Water pressure was the big daily frustration. The flow was so weak that after flushing the toilet we had to wait ten minutes before showering, which was especially annoying after a beach day. The rest of the stay was quite good. Our unit was very clean, and we paid $15 USD for fresh sheets and towels midweek. Staff were kind and helpful, including letting us check out an hour late and wait for our ride in the business center. There was always a guard at the entrance, and the residence was wheelchair friendly. The rooftop pool was clean, not crowded, and had comfortable lounge chairs and changing rooms. We also liked the balcony setup, with two chairs, artificial grass, and plants that gave some privacy. You need to take your own rubbish and recycling to the disposal area on each floor. We paid $110 USD per night. Prices may be negotiable when booking directly. I’m not sure whether the condos are individually owned, but the photos and our experience suggest furnishings can differ between units, for example the TV size.

Everything was close enough to walk to, including Walmart, mega, groceries, Aido bus station, shops, restaurants, 5th Avenue in about five minutes, and the beach in around seven. The building itself felt very safe and was kept clean every morning by the lovely ladies who work there. There’s also a secure garage for parking, laundry if you bring your own liquid detergent, and an elevator and ramp for accessibility. Juan at reception was wonderful and answered all our questions. The security was excellent and made us feel safe. A great place to rent while visiting playa, highly recommend it.

The location in PDC is hard to beat for a short or long stay, with Walmart /Mega, 5th Ave, Quinta Alegría shopping mall, stadiums, restaurants, shops, and the Ferry station close by. A'NAH PLAYA and A'NAH DOWNTOWN are similar buildings by the same developer, and both are really well done. The apartments look stylish, with lots of natural light and huge windows. The penthouse setup is spectacular, with a private rooftop terrace, pool, and BBQ ❤️‍🔥. The shared rooftop pools are fantastic too, and both GYMs are spacious, modern, and well equipped. There’s huge underground parking, laundry service in the basement/parking level, a kids club, and a conference room.
