Angelina 28 Beachfront by Nah Hotels

Manuel made us feel so welcome at Angelina 28 by Nah Hotels. We arrived after a late flight into Cancún and stayed just one night before heading inland. Since we were only there briefly, he upgraded us to a three-room condo at no extra cost so we could enjoy the best view. It was fantastic, with ocean views from all three king-sized beds. The kids had fun with the pool and sand toys, and we snorkeled right from the beach, spotting lots of fish species, coral, and even stingrays. We woke to gorgeous thunderstorms rolling over the ocean, then a bright pink sunrise. It was unforgettable. The price was very reasonable and this was such a great start to our trip. I’m so glad we found this little gem. Manuel was incredibly kind and helpful, and we’d absolutely stay again.

Waking up to that amazing view was one of my favorite parts. It feels so private that you won’t want to leave. We loved the peaceful setting away from crowds, the friendly staff, spacious apartment, beach access, unusual infinity pool, and bonus jacuzzi. We’ve been to Mexico before, but this is the best location we’ve found for a vacation. We’ll definitely come back 😍 A few things didn’t spoil the trip, but the kitchen and bathroom were a bit run down. The kitchen faucet was wobbly and a little rusty, and one bathroom faucet barely had any water coming out. There aren’t restaurants or grocery stores nearby because of the location, though basic refreshments are sold there. A vending machine with snacks and drinks like chips, sandwiches, soda, beer, and juice would be useful for guests of any age, especially when they’re enjoying the pool.

There’s not much around this hotel, but the rooms on the third floor have a wonderful sea view. The coastline is a little rough, though we managed it. There’s no garden or anything like that.

The hot water was our one problem. None of the sinks had any, including the kitchen sink for washing dishes. In the showers, the water swung from ice cold to scalding hot. If you adjusted it too far, it went cold again and never warmed back up.
